My triplet grandaughters!

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

Every once in a while it occurs to me that one of my little triplets could one day have a set of their very own little triplets, giving me triplet grandaughters! WOW! This picture was one of those moments!

Princess pedi’s!

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

Pedi’s all around!!! Lala and I took the girls today to get pedi’s at our local favorite place. Lala has taken me there about every three weeks for a fresh pedicure, since I was pregnant…. so the owners S and A not only followed my pregnancy closely, but have watched the girls grow up, through drop-by visits and lots of pictures. Annie always has the latest cute pic on her nail table and brags about the girls to all of her customers. They were tickled to have the girls in there today. A, B and C enjoyed every minute of it. Thankfully, picking out colors took a LONG LONG time, and it got my mom and I through our pedi. Then it was time to paint their toenails. AJ chose blue! B chose yellow!… and C chose silver glitter polish. Toooo funny and so much fun!!!r>

Heaven Sent!

People are always saying to me… “I don’t know how you do it”, and my answer is ALWAYS the same. For those of you who haven’t had to chance to ask, and were wondering the same, here is your answer. I am only able to “do it” (mother triplets), because of all the help I have. We are so fortunate to live 5 minutes away from my parents and 15 mintues away from R’s Mom. But today, I want to talk about V.I spent lots of time on my knees in prayer in the first months of the girls life, and when we decided to look into getting an au pair, I spent even more time down on my knees praying that God would send us the perfect person, or no one at all. God did, just that. He sent us the perfect person. V is truly the backbone of this operation at this house. She is my right hand woman, and I absolutely could not do what I do without her! I am able to really enjoy having two year old triplets, enjoy some time by myself, and most importantly some time with my husband!!So…. to V.I love you with all my heart sweet girl. You are part of our family and will always be. Thank you for your hard work and for loving my girls as much as I do. You are truly a gift!!!

today was a BIG day!

Today was AJ, B and C’s first day at school. They have orientation this week, and then the week after labor day they will be going Monday and Tuesday mornings from 8:30-11:30. One of their teachers used to teach ME in school… WOW! They did great! I am so excited for them to be in such an educational environment and around other kids their age… It was much harder on me, than it was on them heading out into the “real world”!Here are the teachers bringing the out for carpool… such BIG girls!!!

And, the rest of our summer has been spent…

My hands are FULL but so is my heart!

Thursday, August 2nd, 2007

Wow, it’s been busy around here! I have so many pictures to post from our super busy summer, I don’t know where to begin! Here is one to get started. This is from our beach week. We had a total of about 30 family members (11 kids), in two ocean-front houses, for a week of sunny bliss! The girls had the time of their lives with endless attention from dozens of cousins they never get to see! This picture sums up how I am feeling right now. Truly, my hands are full… but SO IS my heart. My heart is overwhelmed today with love for my little girls who will be TWO on Sunday. Oh , and it’s very obvious we have two year olds around here, if you know what I mean! Stay tuned for more photos of the summer, and the upcoming birthday celebration!
