Stow away!

Monday, February 27th, 2006

I almost made it! I had uncle P (a.k.a. Manny) talked into taking me snowboarding with him. He was going to hide me in his clothing until we made it past mom…. but she busted us! Bummer. Uncle P told me that snow boarding is the coolest and that I could be really good at it one day, if I start young. Mom says I’m a little too young. Now I know why LL calls her over protective! Well….maybe next time Uncle P???

…minus the snow.Mommy, daddy, S, LL and Uncle P (a.k.a. Manny) took us to the mountains this past weekend. The “mountain cabin” has been in the family since our granddad S was a little boy a long long time ago (same time as dinosaurs, right S?) Our mommy also spent a whole lot of time there as a little girl, and told us about her memories of her grandmother Maw Maw telling all the grandchildren stories and playing the organ. We got to see pictures of our great grandparents and all our great aunts and uncles and cousins all over the house. It was soooo fun! We didn’t get to see any snow, but it was really cold and sunny. We went downtown and had lunch and shopped and walked around, but mostly we just played around on the floor at the mountain house and practiced sitting up and saying “dadadadada” and “ma” and giggling, laughing and sucking up all the attention. We love being in the mountains because Lala says we’re on vacation. She says that means we get to do whatever we want. Eat when we want, play when we want and even SLEEP when we want. What a deal! I heard mommy telling daddy she was sleep deprived, or something. What a wimp!

Soooooo big!

Remember when they used to all sleep in the same crib? Can you believe how big they are now? They don’t even fit. They thought it was hilarious though, and played for a while together in A’s crib. Little cuties!

High Rollin’

The girls have graduated from bouncy seats to eat in to HIGH CHAIRS!!! Wahoooooo! They are not so sure what they think about them yet, they seem to be more interested in the straps on the chair than what I’m feeding them. They are very curious these days. Changing so fast… where does the time go? They were just placed in my arms, weren’t they?

Guess who has a tooth?

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

Our sweet little B is the first to have a tooth. Her bottom right tooth poked through this morning and the bottom left one is right in tow. C isn’t far behind her from the way things look and A may be the last…. but ya never know!

Yea, mom’s a slacker!

Here we are a whole six months plus almost three weeks and our slacker mom is just now getting around to posting our six month photo. I mean COME ON… it’s not like she has anything else to do!

Spa girls!

I found out by accident that the girls loooovvveee to have a wet washcloth over their eyes like this when their fussy (except A, her’s is dry and just there for the sake of this photo op). B was whiney one day during afternoon snack and as I was wiping her face I discovered that she loved this, made her stop whining immediately. Who knew? Whatever works!

Silly little Pratt girls!

silly girls!
Hey ya’ll. I am so sorry it’s been soooo long. It’s crazy busy around here. In fact, it’s so busy, I hardly have time to take photos much less update the blog with them. I know, I know, no excuse. The girls are doing so great and are sillier than ever. They are learning how to sit up on their own and have been chowing down on solids. Their new favorite is mango…. yummy! We just had their six month doctors appointment and they couldn’t be healthier. A is still our little peanut and almost a whole three pounds smaller than her younger sisters, at 13 lbs. 5 oz. B and C both weigh 16 lbs. 2 oz. C in the 90 % for height at 27 inches…. she’s got long legs. Maybe she’ll be our ballerina, wouldn’t Camden Moody be proud!!! Still trecking through the flu season with out a single sniffle, PRAISE GOD! It’s a regular circus around here and we’re having a blast. We’ll be posting the six month picture in the next few days, so stay tuned!(A, C and B left-to-right)
